* July 15 – Wellington Point Brunch Run – 8:15 Meet to Cruise for 9am Brunch

We will meet on the Eastbound slip road for Old Cleveland Rd off the Gateway near the Ggateway and Holbrook St Belmont at 8.15.

Departure will the be 8.30am for a cruise to Wellington Point arriving at 9am for brunch provided by the club.

After brunch we are going to cruise to Ormiston House for a look and tour (opens at 12) Entry Adults $7, Children 5-12 years $2, Concession $5 (Opens 12pm  - 4pm)

June 3 – Rick’s Garage Run for Lunch – 9am – 3pm

11-16 Margaret Street, Palmwoods

Run starting at Nudgee Road Shell Coles Express, Nudgee off Gateway Motorway.  Leave at 9.30am.  Meet up with others at BP Caboolture 10.45am for 11am departure.  Arrive at Rick’s Garage approx. 12.30pm for a lunch of milkshakes and supersized burgers in Rick’s retro diner.  Large beer garden. Family friendly.

Sunday, May 6 - Cruise to 2018 Gold Coast Dub Club Show & Swap

Leaving from Boondall Entertainment Centre train station car park and travelling to Yatala Services to meet South and East/Baysiders then cruising to Pimpama for the Show.
Timing to be confirmed but expect it to be around 7/7:30am meeting at Boondal for an 8am depart.

Sunday, April 15, 2018 - Dubs at the Abbey

Come one come all to the Bad Little Bug-gers Vee Dub Club QLD Inc annual event. ALL VW'S WELCOME! Big, medium, small air or water cooled. We want to see them ALL.

For those that can join the cruise journey up to the event, we will meet at the Boondall Entertainment Centre train station car park from 8am departing at 9am. Arrival will be at the Abbey Museum (traveling via Pumicestone Rd) at approximately 10am.

Cost:

  • $10 per/car for Show Entry
  • $20 per swap site
  • $50 for trade stall
  • $100 for food stall

Sunday, April 15 - 2018 Dubs at the Abbey Cruise

Leaving from Boondall Entertainment Centre train station car park and arriving at the Abbey Museum (traveling via Pumicestone Rd) and arriving at approx 10am.
Meeting at Boondall from 8am and leaving at 9am, this cruise is an 80kph (max) cruise up the highway to the Pumicestone Passage turn-off and then rolling in to the event as a convoy.
Please have your entrance fee for the show ready to collect at Boondall to get your stickers and packs so you can be quickly directed to your place in the show. More information to be added here.

Sunday 5th - Cath & Kim run

Meeting at Mt Cootha Botanic Gardens at 09:00 for a 09:15 departure.

Cruise along Mt Nebo road, and first stop is Bellbird Grove for morning tea and a toilet stop - tea and coffee is profided, BYO cold drinks and a plate to share.  Continuing along Mt Nebo towards Mt Glorious stopping at Westridge viewing platform for a panoramic view of western ranges.  Then a downhill windy road through Samford Valley (ensure your brakes are good), turning right into Eatons Crossing Road then anogher right into Queen Elizabeth Drive adn finishing at Kumbartcho Sanctuary (15 Bunya Court, Eatons Hill) for BYO BBQ lunch.

18th to 19th - Christmas Run, Lake Somerset Holiday Park

Camping Saturday night, tubing, wake-boarding on a few member's boats, then heading into Kilcoy Pub for a dinner Saturday night.
